Mud and tape on a Saturday. The team was cranking today.
Pulled up to fire on the 94… hope all is OK with the passengers..
Whoa. Drywall is up on the ceiling and most of the walls.. Tape and
mud will be finished by Monday! Crazy.
The electrical was completed today, less a few items we plan to run up thru the floor. I learned that “tails” essentially means wires leading to a “fixture / outlet”. After drywall is completed, the “tails” are located and pulled thru to the appropriate fixture / outlet.
I’m back at work. Lots of goodness happening throughout the day… the tub was installed. I managed to get to the house around 5, right before sundown. It’s a little darker in the house since we’re facing east.
This day was a bit crazy… framing, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical was underway at once. Can be a bit tricky in a 850 sq ft house.
Finally found the hinges at San Diego hardware today. The interior
doors will be jamless for a trap door look. The look is achieved with
invisible hinges.
I pulled up this morning to find a truckload of concrete from the basement. Old concrete is a bit tough to demo. What was initially scoped to be a day of work turns into 3… aye!
Someone cut and stole a bunch of wood… In the middle of the nite?
