Woodworth started repair and patch of the existing floors. We managed to salvage wood from the odd shape remaining in the kitchen to patch the hallway, bedrooms and receptacles. We ordered an additional 150 sq. ft of 2″x1/2″ white oak to finish the kitchen.

The team was banging like crazy with what looked like a marshmallow attached to the end of a hammer. Once they finish repair and install, they’ll come back in a week to sand and finish.

Testing a few options on how to finish. You can see a strip of the old finish… very red and orange. The 2 test areas are straight-up water-based finish and the other with a hint of white.
