The stairs were poured just in time before the rain started coming down. A control joint was added by the stairs… not bad I suppose. Overall, really happy with how it’s coming together. Next up: Gravel, landscape lighting, and possibly a tree as per the original plan. Although, we’re not certain a tree will make it, given how close we are to geologic formation.
Stairs leading to / from the courtyard are formed and ready for approximately 3 yards of concrete. We fed conduit thru the forms for future in-ground and accent lighting. LED’s are a bit pricey compared to low-voltage, but we’re hoping to conserve energy. Additionally, EnvironmentalLights.com has very reasonable prices. We purchased LED bars for our under cabs.
