The Future is Bright

A major milestone is reached with the house. Time to focus on inside details. We’ll continue to work on the waterproofing issue that won’t go away and start the fence & gate in about 2 weeks when Matt is back from his NYC trip (the one in the pic is temporary).

Did quite a bit of research on what type of stucco to go with.. but decided on conventional, old skool base white in a smooth / slick finish. The garage (temporary until we figure out funds for the addition) was painted in Benjamin Moore Black Jack.

The palm casts a fun shadow on the house.

  7. Hi! I saw your post over on Plastolux. We had planned on remodeling an awful house in to a pretty modern home, but due to some changes in plans we’re going to build from scratch now. You’ve done a fantastic job! Can’t wait to see more!
