Gap or No Gap?

Is the gap too messy?

I would keep an 1″ at the top to bottom…

I’m kind of loving it without the gap. Keeps it cleaner…and I’m wondering how much extra light you would really get in there.

Love the plan! Look at all that delicious storage.

you are right, gotta reduce that gap. werd to that, thanks.

the laundry remodel looks good! hey, we have a new valve / mixer & rough if you’re down…even a shorty shower arm.

I think the same, plus you can control the light better. Looking great!

i’d go with no gap but consider adding an internal clearstory or transom windows.

i like the lines without the gap but never underestimate natural light in a bathroom. how about a clearstory window over the bathroom section framed in the same finish?

I like the gap, it makes the whole thing more of a box, an installation. plus the sunlight…

the gap might look neat – but from a practical point of view – bathroom sounds, odors and moisture (from hot showers) need to be kept contained :)

    I vote fully closed!
