Kathy McCormick + Ted Smith (of Smith and Others) completed this amazing private residence in Del Mar. You’ll have to excuse my lack of credits for this one… I snapped screenshots months ago but lost the source. I know that Marcie helped with the landscape schematic. Nice!!

I was out of town for the event, but read that LMN architects won the grand orchid for the Conrad Prebys Music Center at UCSD. Beautiful building. Congratulations to friends jman, michael, and marcie for their orchids!

centre street lofts preview

I snapped a few pics at lloyd’s latest project yesterday. centre street lofts is coming together very nicely. the project features 25 unique lofts for rent. most, if not all, include outdoor space, huge sliding glass doors (pocket doors!), and beautiful handmade details. my favorite detail: the curved poured concrete wall that wraps around 2 palm trees. centre street lofts is filling up quickly, but I do believe large one-bedrooms are still available. I created a small reservation web app to make the leasing process more intimate. open houses are from 10-3 on Sundays. more pics after the jump.
